Artist's Comments

It's quite a unique moment to see a sea of clouds here. The fog was all over the valley. And the sun was wainting to show his warm rays.

I know the quality is not as good as I want, but the pylons were maybe at 2-3 km and the far far away mountain was about 40-50 km from where I took the photo.
For that shot I used the 200 mm and the option x2 of the camera!

Enjoy! ;)

Non, mais sérieusement, t'habite où pour avoir autant de brume !? C'est joli mais ça doit pas être évident au volant... :P

Qui hante la tempête et se rit de l'archer ;
Exilé sur le sol au milieu des huées,
Ses ailes de géant l'empêchent de marcher.

Sublime... Même si celà aurait fait plus rêveur si la brume avait monté un peu plus...

this is so wonderful. I really miss such moments. I saw it some times when I still lived in the mountains but now, in the "plaines" and in the city.... no chance for such an enigmatic moment.

Oh, but it is so ... exhilarating. I wish I could put into words all the moments in the past this awakens in me. Having grown up in the Alps, it puts me back on top of a mountain after having left the grey world behind me. And looking back down from up there, it would take my breath away every time. And that's what this does to me. Gives me that feeling of being free and above it all.

And even if it did not touch me personally like that, the gradients of the mountains and the contrasts in this are just very good.

Wonderful.

Fantastic shot - I can really offer no criticism on this piece - it seems like you did all you could to zoom in on the scene, and the photo itself seems perfect to me!

I love how the clouds seem like water, rolling into the shore - it's an unreal view! Very nice how you've been able to include the power transformers into the photo - adds for a good reality check and lets us know what we are looking at / and the magnitude of the fog!
